A leading European insurance provider offering comprehensive risk-management and financial protection solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support its growing corporate planning function in Japan.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a central role in the company's strategic planning, annual budgeting, and mid-term forecasting activities.
You will collaborate closely with senior leadership across finance, actuarial, product, and operations to deliver high-quality financial insights that support decision-making at both the Japan and regional levels.
In this role, you will analyze business performance, develop financial models, and provide recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
Lead annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial modeling
Prepare and present financial analysis to senior management and regional headquarters
Evaluate business initiatives and support scenario planning
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive data accuracy, alignment, and visibility
Enhance corporate planning processes and reporting frameworks
Your Skills
Fluent Japanese
5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) or corporate planning, ideally within insurance or - financial services
Proficiency with Excel and financial planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) is a plus
Highly collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders
