Key Responsibilities
- Process Regional Accounts Payable in a timely and accurate manner.
- Resolve any aoutstanding Accounts Payable isues in a timely manner.
- Identify reoccurring problems relating to Regional Accounts Payable, communicate those issues surrounding these problems to management and be part of the solution to resolve these problems.
- Assist with monthly and year-end close procedures.
- Systematically verify and audits accounts for completeness and accuracy according to established SOX controls.
- Support management directives.
- Other duties/projects as assigned.
Japan Specific responsibilites
- Clear AP invoice in SAP after payment
- Clear AR invoice upon receipt
- Customer sales price data collection and upload request to price admin.
- Assist with monthly close activities including month end analysis for journal entries and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support the annual corporate tax return filling.
- Prepare materials for the consumption tax return filling.
- Fixed asset management.
- Prepare fixed cost actual/budgnet analysis report and provide to cost center managers.
Required Skills
- Over 5 years working experience in Accounting/Finance Department.
- Working experience in the international company is highly preferred
- Microsoft Office experience(Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- ERP experience (SAP) is required.
- Fluent in Japanese.
- Strong English reading and writing skills are required. Speaking and listening skills should be at least at a daily conversational level.
- Job requires strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Must be a proactive problem solver.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
- Aalytical and detail-oriented.
Education, Certifications & Licenses
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance.
Compensation Data
Annual Salary : Minimum 4.5 mil -
annual salary includes, Base salary, Housing allowance, Fixed seasonal bonus)
*Salary will be determined based on experince and qualifications
Allowance : Commuting allowance (full coverage), Overtime allowance provided
Bonus : Fixed seasonal bonuses in June and December (part of annual salary)
Company performance bonus may be provided (based on company performance)
Payment : Closing at the end of month, paid on 20th of the month
Salary increase : Once a year (based on company and individual performance)
Conditions of Employment
- Employment type : Permanent
- Provation period : 3 months
- Working hours : 9:00am - 5:30pm, (incl. Lunch break 12:00pm - 1:00pm), Monday to Friday
- Overtime : Eligible (estimated 0-10 hours/month)
- Holidays : Saturdays, Sundays, National holidays, Year-end/New Year holidays (from December 29th to January 4th), Mayday (May 1st) and company holiday (mid December)
- Annual Paid Leave entitlement : will be provided in accordance with company policy
- Retirement Age : Age of 65
- Retirement Allowance : The company offers a corporate-type defined contribution pension plan (DC plan) as a retirement benefit.
- Social insuranc : Health, Pension, Employment and worker's compensation insurance
