The Role
Copado KK is seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Sales for Japan to drive revenue growth, expand our customer base, and lead strategic sales initiatives. This senior leadership role will focus on building and scaling the sales function in Japan while working closely with regional and global teams.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the Japanese SaaS and Salesforce ecosystem, a proven track record of driving enterprise sales, and experience building high-performing sales teams in Japan.
What You'll Be Doing
- Drive revenue growth in Japan by developing and executing a sales strategy that aligns with Copado's global objectives.
- Lead and expand the Japan sales team, hiring, mentoring, and managing top sales talent to achieve ambitious growth targets.
- Build and nurture relationships with enterprise customers, Salesforce ecosystem partners, and key stakeholders to position Copado as the go-to DevOps platform.
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies, ensuring alignment with product and marketing teams to drive demand and adoption.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (marketing, customer success, product) to ensure seamless customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and drive innovation in the Japan market.
- Report on key performance metrics (KPIs) and sales forecasts to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Represent Copado at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and credibility in Japan.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in the SaaS industry, with a strong preference for experience in Salesforce ecosystem, DevOps, or CI/CD solutions.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving growth in the Japan region.
- Experience building and leading sales teams in Japan, including hiring, training, and coaching sales professionals.
- Strong network in the Japanese Salesforce ecosystem, with experience working with enterprise clients and technology partners.
- Fluency in Japanese and English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
