Join a leading global investment bank as a JGB Sales professional (Associate to VP) and take charge of Yen Rates product sales, focusing on Japanese Government Bonds (JGBs) and Swaps.

In this role, you'll cover major Japanese central financial institutions, providing tailored investment solutions and market insights.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced global markets team, leveraging both your Japanese and English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage sales of Yen Rates products, with a strong focus on JGBs and Swaps.
Build and maintain relationships with Japanese central financial institutions.
Provide clients with market intelligence and trading ideas to support strategic investment decisions.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including traders, research analysts, and structurers.
Contribute to the bank's overall rates sales performance and client satisfaction.


Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 3 years of Yen Rates sales experience within an investment bank based in Japan.


Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of fixed income markets, rates products, and Japanese Government Bonds.


Language Requirements:

Japanese:
Native fluency (spoken and written).

English:
Business-level proficiency (comfortable in cross-border communication).


Soft Skills:
Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Strong client focus and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of interest rate derivatives, swaps, or bond trading strategies.
Exposure to global markets environments and international institutional clients.
Ability to deliver tailored market insights to clients across diverse portfolios.
