Department Overview
The Global IT Strategy Office is responsible for Corporate IT Strategic Planning and Deliveries, and also focuses on PMO and program management, overall process standardization and business analysis as well as product lifecycle. Why We Hire
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst available in Japan to join our Corporate IT department and to drive process transformation, optimization initiatives within the scope of the established department strategy.
Position Details
Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
Design and implement optimized processes in alignment with industry standards and best practices throughout the organization.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs. - Translate into functional specifications.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of deliverables.
Develop and maintain documentation for new processes and procedures.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of processes to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Provide training and support to end-users on new processes and tools.
Utilize data analysis and modeling techniques to support decision-making and problem-solving.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and objective key results to track the success of process improvements.
Mentor and coach junior business analysts.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, process optimization, or a related field, preferably within the tech industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with project management methodologies.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Domo or Power BI.
Experience with business process modeling and improvement methodologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to create a monthly performance report.
Desired Qualifications:
A master's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications: Any relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Leadership: Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
Innovation: A track record of driving innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Technical: Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across departments.
