Key responsibilities include:
Developing and executing asset strategies for pipeline assets, providing early objective views of unmet needs, target profiles, market potential, competitive landscapes, and commercial risks.
Leading cross-functional coordination in ensuring the quality of forecasting and asset evaluation, to support the Search & Evaluation function of the Global Oncology BU.
Formulating pricing/access strategies in collaboration with Patient Value, Policy & Access teams in the Global Oncology BU and Japan Pharma BU.
Ensuring the needs of Oncology Business are appropriately represented in policy discussions with authorities and industry associations, as well as Key Opinion Leaders.
Driving the establishment, deployment, and execution of the JOBU mid-term strategy, leading and/or facilitating cross-functional/company-wide projects, and monitoring critical projects led by other functions/divisions.
Realizing the ONE Oncology Concept in Japan, establishing and strengthening collaboration models across the value chain, and creating differentiated value for JOBU to bring to the external ecosystem.
Developing and executing innovative solutions to create value for HCPs and patients, leveraging partnerships.
Building and leading high-performing teams, increasing the quality and depth of necessary talent, creating compelling and robust development and succession plans, and maximizing team effectiveness and efficiency.
Minimum requirements include:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, scientific field, or related field, with MBA or relevant Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred.
At least 7+ years' experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industries, with experience in oncology therapeutic area and/or R&D organization strongly preferred.
Proven track record and deep knowledge of portfolio management, NPP, LCM, and pricing/access strategies, with ability to comprehend and assess scientific/real-world data and develop asset strategies.
Strong leadership and management capabilities, with experience in a leadership role within a multi-functional commercial and/or R&D organization, and excellent communication skills to influence, lead, negotiate, and work effectively at all levels within a matrix and multi-cultural environment.
Working styles include a hybrid working way in a combination of working in the office and working remotely, with a requirement to work in the office for at least 2 days per week, and availability of remote meeting systems and chatting systems.
