Drive operational excellence in payments, enhancing customer experience through strategic partnerships, process improvements, and data-driven analysis.
Payment Business Operations manages relationships with 50+ global payment partners, supporting the larger payments platform and collaborating with product management, software development, and technical operations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate operational relationships with third-party partners and internal customers, ensuring performance and contractual commitments.
- Recommend, ground, and drive projects to improve customer pain points within the Payments organization and across Amazon.
- Identify operational gaps in new offerings and propose operational requirements for new projects.
- Resolve customer-impacting issues with technology teams.
- Interface with business and technical customers, gather requirements, and produce data-driven analysis.
- Develop metrics for assessing performance and trends.
- Dive deep into credit card products and demonstrate significant annual efficiency improvements.
- Requirements:
- 3+ years of program or project management experience.
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
- 3+ years of working with external suppliers experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Fluency in Japanese and Proficiency in English (verbal/written).
- Experience in e-commerce or financial products is a plus.
