Job Description
The Amazon Consumer Payments team supports multiple payment products and processes millions of transactions every day across numerous countries and payment methods.
We build systems that provide various payments features and process payments at an unprecedented scale, with accuracy, speed, and mission-critical availability.
We innovate to improve customer experience across the globe, with support for currency choice, pay using installments, pay with reward points, in-store payments, pay on delivery, credit and debit payments, seller disbursements, gift cards, and many new exciting and challenging ideas are in the works.

Are you a hands-on technical leader who can make a huge impact on a dynamic, fast moving business? Are you equally comfortable digging into business and financial requirements as you are drilling into architecture and design with development teams?
About This Role
This role requires working closely with businesses across Amazon, the product management team, development team, marketing and key software development teams across the company to define strategy and requirements, and then lead projects through operations design and delivery.
This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks and product strategy. Excellent listening, writing skills and strong technical competency are essential.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
