A renowned data centre company is seeking an Acquisition Manager. The selected candidate will drive market analysis, site selection, and coordinate with key stakeholders to facilitate business development opportunities. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers, consultants, and real estate professionals for site selection due diligence and feasibility initiatives
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify business development planning opportunities
  • Conduct market analysis and opportunity mapping to identify real estate/site selection opportunities across the APAC region
  • Support the Site Selection Acquisition Director in preparing materials and negotiating deals with landlords and brokers
  • Review and facilitate contracts, NDAs, lease agreements, and other related documents for site selection
  • Work closely with the Business Development team on cashflow modelling for projects
  • Manage the site selection due diligence budget
  • Evaluate current practices and site conditions, and guide the implementation of processes for company expansion
  • Collaborate with the technology team on due diligence and produce consultant briefs for design continuity
  • Work with the Data Analyst for mapping potential sites and customer areas
  • Represent the site selection team in project meetings and advance real estate deals
  • Provide routine updates to leadership regarding progress and roadblocks in acquiring real estate deals

Requirements:

  • More than 5 years of real estate or project management experience in the industrial/data centre sector
  • Experience in conducting market analysis and feasibility assessments
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Excellent quantitative skills are a plus
  • Professional level English and Japanese
