A multinational fashion company is seeking a Head of Talent Development to drive leadership growth and succession planning across its brands.

The selected candidate will design and implement talent development strategies, oversee cross-brand programs, and represent Japan in global initiatives. This is a hybrid role.


Responsibilities:
Lead the creation and execution of talent strategies to strengthen leadership and future capabilities
Partner with HRBPs and leaders to establish and monitor individual development and succession plans
Conduct talent reviews and maintain an updated organisational talent map
Identify and nurture high-potential employees, building sustainable talent pipelines
Oversee cross-brand learning and development initiatives to promote alignment and capability growth
Represent Japan in global discussions, sharing insights and best practices to support worldwide talent agendas


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above
5-7 years of experience in HR or talent development within global, matrixed organisation
Experience in HRBP
Prior experience partnering with business leaders
Proven B2C industry experience (fashion, beauty, luxury, consumer goods)
Background in retail is ideal
Prior background working across brands/business units
Knowledge of talent strategy
Professional level Japanese and English
