Controlling / Reporting
Oversee controlling and reporting activities for assigned business entities
Validate and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L), overheads, balance sheet, and cash flow, including variance analysis
Identify issues and provide recommendations to maintain and improve profitability
Prepare weekly financial reports
Performance Analysis
Conduct and enhance performance analysis by channel (e.g. volume, pricing, margins, advertising and promotion expenses)
Work closely with marketing and sales teams to validate KPIs and analytical models
Review assumptions, perform comparative analysis, and produce standard reports
Analyze the financial impact of new product launches
Design and monitor KPIs for After Sales and Logistics functions
Analyze After Sales business performance (pricing, margins, investments, etc.)
Support new projects related to After Sales activities
Planning & Forecasting
Lead the planning and forecasting process, including budget, best estimate, revised forecast, and landing
Manage forecasts covering P&L, cash flow, and capital expenditures (Capex)
Internal Control
Support the establishment and operation of internal control processes within the assigned scope
Plan and monitor the annual stock-taking process
Review and update expense approval workflows and delegation of authority rules
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Business
Master's degree or MBA is preferred
Experience
3-6 years of experience in FP&A, general accounting, or auditing within a multinational or foreign-affiliated company
Experience working in a multinational organization is required
Overseas work experience is a plus
Skills & Abilities
Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure, interpret, and clearly explain complex financial data
Knowledge of accounting standards, including IFRS
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to create professional internal business presentations
Strong project management skills
Highly responsible, proactive, and able to work independently
Flexible and self-reliant in an international working environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented mindset
Languages
Business-level English proficiency
Professional working proficiency in Japanese
