ポジションの概要
国内最大級のエネルギー企業とグローバル企業のジョイントベンチャーにて、日本の電力自由化市場の最前線に携わっていただきます。2025年4月の事業統合を経て、現在東京デスクは急速に拡大しています。本ポジションは、将来的にプロプライエタリ・トレーダー(自社資金運用トレーダー)を目指す、極めて分析能力の高いプロフェッショナルのための登竜門です。
主な職務内容
デスク構築:
トレーダーと密接に連携し、日本の電力トレーディングデスクの立ち上げおよび拡大を支援。
ツール開発(アーキテクチャ): トレーダーが日々意思決定を行うための独自ツール・モデルの開発・保守、および市場即応性の確保。
コマーシャル・オペレーション:
取引(ディール)の入力、ポジションおよび日次収支(P&L)の照合・管理。
テクニカル・インターフェース:
IT部門、バックオフィス、フロントオフィス・デベロッパーと連携し、取引システムの機能拡張やUI環境のテストを実施。
リスク&コンプライアンス:
リスク管理・プロダクトコントロール部門と連携し、価格曲線(カーブ)の入力管理および内部規定・法規制の遵守徹底。
必須スキル・経験
語学力:
日本語および英語による極めて高いビジネスコミュニケーション能力(読み書き・交渉レベル必須)。
定量的スキル:
工学、データサイエンス、金融工学、数学、経済学などの数理・分析系分野での学位(大学卒以上)。
実行力:
変化の激しい高圧的な環境下で、主体性(プロアクティブ)を持って業務を遂行できるビジネス・マインドセット。
分析精度:
複雑な市場構造を迅速に理解する高い学習能力と、論理的な分析スキル。
歓迎(尚可)スキル・経験
修士号:
数理・計量系分野での修士号(将来的なトレーダーへのキャリアアップにおいて非常に有利です)。
業界経験:
コモディティ・トレーディング環境での実務経験、または日本国内の電力市場に関する知識。
市場分析:
市場分析の実務経験、および効果的なリスク管理フレームワークへの深い理解。

The Opportunity
Join a leading utility-backed energy joint venture at the forefront of the liberalized Japanese power market. Following a major strategic integration, this firm is scaling its Tokyo-based desk. This is a high-visibility position designed for an analytical professional seeking a direct career path into Proprietary Trading.
Main Responsibilities
Desk Development:
Play a key contribution in building out a Japanese Power trading desk in close coordination with Traders.
Tool Architecture:
Take responsibility for developing and maintaining proprietary Trader tools to ensure daily market readiness.
Commercial Execution:
Manage the booking of deals and perform daily reconciliation of positions and P&L.
Technical Interface:
Coordinate with IT, Back Office, and Front Office developers to enhance trading systems and test UI environments.
Risk & Compliance:
Partner with Product Control and Risk teams on curve inputs and ensure strict adherence to internal risk management procedures.
Required SkillsLinguistic Excellence:
Full professional fluency in both English and Japanese (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Quantitative Foundation:
Graduate degree in an analytically-based discipline such as Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Maths, or Economics.
Fast-Paced Execution:
Proven ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a proactive, business-oriented mindset.
Analytical Precision:
Strong communication and analytical skills with a fast learning curve for complex market structures.
Good to Have
Advanced Degree:
A Master's degree in a quantitative field is beneficial as this role is designed to lead into a trader role.
Industry Expertise:
Previous experience in a commodity trading environment or specific knowledge of Power markets.
Market Analysis:
Prior experience in market analysis and a strong understanding of effective risk management
