Job Title: Technical Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects involving colleagues from various departments and locations from start to successful completion
  • Create project estimates and scope independently
  • Analyze data from laboratory and mechanical testing
  • Provide technical support to customers and the sales team
  • Offer day-to-day technical and product support
  • Deliver technical presentations to customers
  • Assist customers in obtaining industry and OEM approvals
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Sales teams to translate business plans into technical projects
  • Develop long-term partnerships with Sales and Customers
  • Support Product Managers in managing product positioning activities
  • Organize promotional events with key customer accounts

Requirements - Education, Experience, Skills:

Education & Professional Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or chemistry preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of technical service experience in the Chemical industry
  • Experience in a multinational company preferred

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proficiency in Engine oil and additives
  • Technical expertise to assist customers and sales with performance or specification queries
  • Fluency in written and oral English
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience in managing projects and prioritizing initiatives
  • Ability to solve technical problems and effectively handle conflicts
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and divisions
