Job Summary

Our leading real estate/property management software company is looking for a Senior Consultant to join their team to expand their business in Japan

Location: Osaka or Tokyo, Japan

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Consultant to join our team and contribute to our expansion efforts in Japan. In this role, you will be involved in the implementation phase of our software solutions for new clients. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering high-level professional services, providing product consultation, and managing software implementation for a designated portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consulting services, including product advice and software implementation, to a portfolio of assigned clients.
  • Offer guidance to client stakeholders on technology solutions to enhance business operations, tackle challenges, and develop effective solutions.
  • Manage the scope of consulting projects efficiently while fostering and maintaining strong client relationships.

    • Top 3 Skills Required:

  • Experience in software implementation for clients or a strong technical background in software engineering, with the ability to offer technical consultation.
  • Experience with accounting software/tools (such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday) or a keen interest in the real estate sector.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in managing stakeholders and clients.

    • Language Requirements:

  • Fluent in both English and Japanese, with a strong ability to communicate effectively in a business environment.

    • Ideal Profiles for This Role:

  • Business Analyst 7+ years of experience in gathering requirements, working with stakeholders, and creating Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) from scratch based on client requests. Bilingual with business-level proficiency in Japanese (experience communicating with external clients in Japanese is required). Experience with project management tasks and a good understanding of managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Project Manager 7+ years of experience as a project manager. Bilingual with business-level proficiency in Japanese (experience communicating with external clients in Japanese is required). Some exposure to Business Analyst tasks and a strong understanding of working with stakeholders to comprehend requirements.
  • Product Manager 5+ years of experience as a product manager. Bilingual with business-level proficiency in Japanese (experience communicating with external clients in Japanese is required). Proven ability to handle multiple responsibilities and roles to advance development projects, including experience with Business Analyst or Project Manager tasks.
