■About the Role
As a Business System Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical capabilities. You will work closely with users and the project team to gather requirements, design robust data solutions, and guide the implementation process with third party vendors or other internal service provider
■Key Responsibilities
・Collaborate with users and the project team on requirements and expectations.
・Analyze business requirements and create data solutions that meet functional and non-functional needs.
・Analyze existing systems to trace original source data based on business requirements.
・Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies and build data flows.
・Guide System Analysts, Engineers, Programmers, and others on project limitations, capabilities, performance, and interfaces.
・Discover metadata of source databases, including value patterns, key candidates, and functional dependencies.
・Design logical and physical data models.
・Create design documents, including Functional Requirements Documents (FRD).
・Prepare test cases, test data, and capture test evidence.
■Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience is ideal
6–10 years of relevant experience on system development or a business system analyst role.
Advanced/Fluent Japanese, Intermediate English language skills minimally
Strong data/system analytics skills
Understanding or hands-on experience of REST API, micro-services, ETL, Salesforce, Cloud services.
Good knowledge of Oracle, MS-SQL Server, MongoDB, Linux, and networking. Exposure to platforms like Hive, HBase, Zeppelin, and Spark, Livy, Solr is required.
Detailed, precise, able to drive design alone, patient, and able to transform non-technical specifications into IT requirements.
