Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Bilingual Business Analyst who is fluent in both Japanese and English to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders across regions to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the successful delivery of IT and business transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements in both English and Japanese.
- Analyze and translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with cross-functional teams.
- Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure alignment and mutual understanding.
- Support project lifecycle activities including testing, training, and change management.
- Create and maintain documentation such as business process flows, user stories, and requirement traceability matrices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Japanese N2/N1 and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
