■Company Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Technology Consultant on behalf of our client, a world-leading consumer brand (Fashion/Apparel).
■Position
This is a crucial role where you will plan, configure, and implement the software solutions that drive their business forward. You won't just be maintaining systems; you'll be an expert advisor, a business analyst, and a project leader all in one.
■Key Responsibilities
・Be the Expert: Act as the go-to specialist for sales and retail technology, providing detailed advice that shapes business planning and operations.
・Solve Business Problems: Investigate operational needs, identify opportunities, and design effective solutions—whether it's improving a current process or implementing a new system.
・Lead Critical Projects: Define, document, and execute projects and sub-projects, managing everything from project plans and risks to budgets and stakeholder communication.
・Define the "What": Lead requirements-gathering workshops, challenge stakeholders constructively, and establish clear, traceable requirements for initiatives.
・Build Key Relationships: Manage and enhance relationships with business partners, IT teams, and vendors, ensuring smooth communication and effective problem-solving.
・Get Hands-On: Assist in software configuration, system testing, and application support. You'll be key to identifying issues, documenting faults, and implementing resolutions.
■Requirements
・A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT or related technology functions.
・At least 2 years of experience in a retail or consumer-facing business, specifically working with sales technology platforms like POS, CRM, OMS, or in-store applications.
・Hands-on experience in Sales Technology (e.g., in-store selling tools, inventory management, product catalogs, pricing/promotion engines).
・Proven experience leading cross-functional and regional projects, aligning global and local stakeholders.
・Deep experience in omni-channel environments (integrating e-commerce, retail, and mobile sales) is highly preferred.
・Fluency in spoken and written English & Japanese (Business Level).
