We are recruiting for this role for our client. The role is directly with them on a permanent basis.
The role
- Lead business analysis for certain tools for the Japan office, partnering closely with the Japan IT Business Partner and senior commercial leaders (sales, marketing and related functions).
- Act as a strategic bridge between business and IT, shaping complex, business‑critical initiatives across ERP, CRM (SFDC), BI/DWH and other enterprise applications.
- Manage implementation, integration, new feature, and other IT projects with technical staff on vendor side.
- Own end‑to‑end requirements: understanding current processes, mapping and redesigning them, and converting business needs into precise technical specifications.
- Influence decision making at executive level in a highly collaborative, matrixed organization.
- Raise the bar for the BA function by driving best practices, mentoring other analysts, and ensuring clear communication between business stakeholders and global IT teams.

What you bring
- 7+ years' experience in Business Analysis, BSA, or similar role, including leading delivery of ERP, SFDC, BI/DWH or comparable platforms.
- Native‑level Japanese and strong English, with proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Background in medical devices, pharma, or other regulated industries, with hands‑on experience in process mapping, optimization and Agile ways of working is helpful.
