The Attainment team focuses on expanding the AMZL's delivery network and enhancing AMZL's market share (Attainment) in the delivery area.
Join AMZL JP in seeking a Program Manager to contribute to the expansion of the delivery network. This role involves identifying improvement opportunities based on data, leading actions to expand the AMZL network in Japan, and pioneering necessary actions.
The Program Manager will optimize changes in a rapidly growing dynamic delivery network in collaboration with Fulfillment Centers (FC) and the middle mile. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the world's largest logistics business, impacting millions of Amazon customers while optimizing speed and quality.
Ideal candidates will understand Amazon's logistics control IT systems comprehensively, make system adjustments in accordance with the AMZL network expansion plan, and have a proactive stance towards learning.
Moreover, candidates must be data-driven, possess internal motivation, and demonstrate analytical skills, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. They may also need to manage stakeholders in situations where interests conflict.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and modify system settings according to AMZL's network expansion plans.
- Communicate with stakeholders to minimize disruptions from system changes.
- Manage network expansion project teams and preemptively address issues affecting Attainment.
- Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and collaboration with BI/Data Engineering teams.
We are looking to hire individuals with at least 3 years of experience in roles such as Data Analyst, Statistical Analyst, or Business Analyst, along with 2+ years of program/project management experience in related industries. Fluency in Business-level English and Japanese is also required.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in engineering or related fields, experience in managing large and complex IT systems, proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, SQL/Redshift, VBA, R, or Python, and a positive attitude towards contributing to an inclusive culture.
