Our client is a leading global technology company in Vietnam who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm:
- Lead and Grow the Onsite Development Team: Oversee the creation, development, and ongoing management of the Onsite Delivery team to satisfy client requirements and support company expansion.
- Presales Leadership: Manage technical presales activities for major deals, including engaging with clients, facilitating workshops, defining solutions, and presenting proposals.
- Delivery Management & Problem Solving: Oversee project delivery, monitor progress, and address challenges to ensure projects are completed on time with high quality, maintaining client satisfaction.
- Client Liaison: Serve as the main contact for clients, clearly communicating their needs and expectations, representing their interests, and maintaining effective communication between clients and internal teams to drive project success.
- Account Growth & Collaboration: Promote growth within current accounts by uncovering new opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, coordinating with sales, pre-sales, and delivery units, and crafting customized strategies to enhance account value and client loyalty.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the Japan Delivery budget and margin control, optimizing resource allocation and meeting financial targets.
- Compliance Enforcement: Ensure that the team complies with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards (like ISO and CMMI) to uphold operational effectiveness and quality standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in project management/software development, preferably within IT outsourcing companies.
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate several projects at the same time.
- Strong skills in communication and negotiation, capable of working efficiently with Japanese clients.
- Well-versed in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall and familiar with tools like Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Outstanding abilities in time management, team leadership, and problem-solving.
- Technical expertise is a plus.
- Proficient in Japanese (equivalent to JLPT N1 level)
