The company aims to establish a "Rakuten economic zone" through a new business model.

The Platform Business Strategy Division is responsible for promoting ecosystem growth strategies and measures centered on marketing across the Rakuten Group. Within this department, a team promotes business development centered on "Rakuten Points". The team is made up of elite individuals who have worked at a strategy consulting firm, combining logical approaches with intuitive approaches. We will continue to develop new strategies.

We are looking for people who can contribute to the promotion of business using Rakuten Points, which are issued over 300 billion yen annually. You will be responsible for planning and promoting new services from the monetization of existing services. We are looking for someone who can play an active role as a senior sales manager in the initial phase of business expansion. Key responsibilities include solution proposal sales using Rakuten points for issues in sales promotion and marketing activities of major companies, acquisition of new sales through cooperation with other departments, and organizational management. Other strategic themes include top management proposal for company-wide strategy, planning of overseas ecosystem strategies, and development of completely new marketing methods.

Mandatory qualifications include senior class experience as sales (5 years or more sales experience), sales experience utilizing multiple channels, and experience in team management of a sales organization of about 5 to 15 people. Desired qualifications include sales experience for major clients and experience as a sales manager in a SaaS business. Languages: English (Intermediate), Japanese (Fluent).
