Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance department. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial management, investment strategies, and fundraising within the energy sector, particularly with VPP (Virtual Power Plant) platforms. This role is perfect for a visionary leader who can enhance our financial performance and drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and enhance profitability.
- Oversee the financial planning and analysis processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Lead fundraising initiatives and capital sourcing to drive company expansion and support strategic projects.
- Manage relationships with investors, stakeholders, and financial institutions, particularly in connection with IPO processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards to mitigate risks and uphold the company's reputation.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align financial operations with the overall business strategy and performance objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to the finance and accounting teams, promoting professional development and high performance.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 21 years of relevant experience in financial management, particularly in the energy sector.
- Proven track record in fundraising, investment management, and preparing for IPOs.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities with experience managing teams.
Desired Experience:
- Experience in managing finance for companies within the energy sector preferred.
- Familiarity with VPP platforms and their financial implications.
- Experience in working with senior management and board members on financial strategies.
