Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with goals for innovation and growth in the art and tech sectors.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage relationships with key finance stakeholders, investors, and stakeholders across the art and blockchain industries.
  • Provide guidance on funding strategies to ensure optimal financial health and resource allocation.
  • Assess market trends and financial risks, providing actionable insights to leadership for strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards applicable in the international art market.
  • Lead financial audits and manage external auditors while maintaining transparent financial practices.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration and professional development.

Essential Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in other managerial finance positions, preferably in tech or innovative sectors.

Desired Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising and managing investor relations.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance law and risk management practices.
  • Experience in blockchain technology and the art market is highly desirable.
