Job Description: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)


Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Develop strategic financial goals and objectives aligned with the company's growth targets.
  • Manage funding strategies to support the company's startup initiatives and ongoing projects.
  • Provide strategic advice to the CEO and other top executives regarding financial planning and risk management.
  • Lead the finance team in maintaining financial health, implementing best practices, and evaluating financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
  • Establish relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders to secure funding and support financial initiatives.
  • Conduct financial analysis to guide decision-making and improve profitability.
  • Implement robust financial systems and processes to streamline operations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and capital markets.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably within a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing funding, financing strategies, and financial planning.
  • Experience in developing financial models and preparing investment pitches.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
