Job Description: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop strategic financial goals and objectives aligned with the company's growth targets.
- Manage funding strategies to support the company's startup initiatives and ongoing projects.
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO and other top executives regarding financial planning and risk management.
- Lead the finance team in maintaining financial health, implementing best practices, and evaluating financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
- Establish relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders to secure funding and support financial initiatives.
- Conduct financial analysis to guide decision-making and improve profitability.
- Implement robust financial systems and processes to streamline operations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and capital markets.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably within a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing funding, financing strategies, and financial planning.
- Experience in developing financial models and preparing investment pitches.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
