Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer will play a critical role in shaping and driving the financial and operational strategies of the organization. The successful candidate will oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis while managing the financial operations across subsidiaries. They will also lead key initiatives such as IPO/IEO preparation, internal controls, and investor relations, ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment, particularly in the crypto and Web3 industries.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and KPI management for the company and subsidiaries.

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Drive efficiency improvements in financial operations and oversee capital policy planning and execution.

  • Collaborate with auditors, banks, and securities firms on financial and operational matters.

  • Develop internal controls, prepare for IPO/IEO processes, and handle investor relations (existing and new).

  • Oversee HR and legal operations, including team management and cross-departmental coordination.

  • Manage, mentor, and evaluate team members, ensuring their professional development.

  • Take a proactive role in addressing company-wide operational and strategic initiatives.

Required Skillsets:

  • Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.

  • Extensive experience in investment banking, crypto, or Web3-related industries.

  • Hands-on experience with cryptocurrency investments, either individual or corporate.

  • CPA qualification or equivalent credentials.

Desired Skillsets:

  • Practical experience with IPO/IEO processes, legal operations, M&A, or IFRS reporting.

  • Experience drafting securities and financial disclosures.
