■ Position Overview

Background

The company's U.S. entity is seeking a CFO to support business expansion and strengthen governance across the group.


This role is responsible for a wide range of management support functions, including financial strategy planning and execution, establishing governance frameworks, enhancing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with both U.S.

and Japanese accounting and tax standards.

You will play a key role in supporting the company's global operations.

■ Responsibilities

Oversee and execute all finance and accounting operations for the U.S. entity
Manage monthly and annual closing processes, including coordination for group consolidation
Ensure accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS
Monitor and report on cash flow, budgeting, and financial projections
Prepare management accounting reports and financial analyses for executives
Coordinate with domestic and international teams for global financial alignment
Improve accounting and finance operations and manage team members

Scope of changes:
Possible reassignment to all related duties

■ Required Qualifications

USCPA certification
5+ years of experience in finance and accounting (US GAAP or IFRS)

English proficiency:
Business level or higher (reading, writing, speaking)

Japanese proficiency:
Business level or higher (reading, writing, speaking)
Experience in cross-border accounting or supporting overseas entities
Strong skills in financial reporting and management reporting

■ Preferred Qualifications

Experience in accounting/finance at U.S.-based public companies, financial institutions, or crypto-related companies
Experience with tax audits, internal controls, and compliance
Experience in team management or organizational development
Background as a CFO or finance leader in a startup or scale-up environment
