Responsibilities

You will coordinate regional marketing & communications activities mainly in Japan (80%) and Korea(20%). This encompasses event coordination and support for the local market communications. The position is based in Yokohama Bruker Japan office. You will work in an international team.

Event coordination (50%)

  • Responsible of the coordination of conferences and tradeshow including logistics (., space booking, utilities etc., catering, shipping of show materials as needed),
  • Ensures maximal brand visibility at these events while staying in the defined budget,
  • Reports on lead generation at events & managing upload to SF. com
  • In charge of successfully organizing the BBIO Users Meeting and Bruker customer engagement activities in Japan and Korea.
  • Responsible of the coordination and integration of marketing activities with other Bruker divisions at joint events (. JASIS or some global international event that happens in the responsible region),
  • Requires occasional show participation to manage on site events. This may represent up to 30% of the time (25 to 30 days per year).
  • Support distributor marketing as needed by working together with distributors to help them succeed, which in turn supports Bruker's success. Make sure that distributor marketing complies with Bruker's policies and accurately reflects our marketing information, preserving the integrity of our brand and initiatives.
  • Online digital activities management (25%)

  • Consolidate the leads from online resources and upload to
  • Coordinate the webinars and other online activities.
  • Search and recommend the advertisement opportunities to promote the company and products.
  • Working with the agency or working independently on social media editing and managing (. Facebook Japan and Kakao Talk in South Korea); Report on a monthly basis of the Social Media activity
  • Google, Yahoo and Naver SEA and SEO campaigns
  • Localized email campaigns and regular enewsletter distribution.
  • Leverage the distributor's online platforms to advertise Bruker products and solutions, making sure that all Bruker information is presented accurately and correctly. Perform routine inspections to ensure content remains consistent.
  • Web & Digital content coordination (15%)

  • Realize audit of immediate fixes to be applied to /ja and selected pages for Korean language.
  • Update on a frequent basis /ja (events, product pages, news)
  • Optimize SEO/SEA program on /ja
  • brochures/flyers/rollups/ posters etc. the promotion materials localization
  • Collect and communicate feedback on localized promotion materials to the global team for continuous improvement and alignment with regional expectations
  • Ensure all promotional contents adhere to brand guidelines and are culturally appropriate for the target audience
  • Internal Procedures coordination (10%)

  • Coordinate collateral translations, print and distribution
  • Ensure successful collaboration with the logistics team
  • Support global communications team
  • Monitor and control budgets in Japan and South Korea, working closely with local teams to propose the marketing plan for the next year.
  • Qualifications

    To be succesful in this position, you will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus. Marketing degree or formalized training desired.
  • Spoken language: Fluent in English & Japanese; Korean would be a plus
  • Three to five years' experience in a Marketing & Communications or similar role required
  • Missions should be done with a high degree of autonomy. Due to the multiple missions candidates should be able to manage different projects and tasks simultaneously, in the perfect respect of the time constraints with an extreme attention to details and the end quality. The candidate must be available to travel to the most important events (30% per year).
  • Excellent skills in planning, prioritizing and organizing, able to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally in an international team and environment
