Our Client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Analyst (Energy) to join our dynamic team in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for data and a strong understanding of the energy sector, with a focus on digital transformation (DX). Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to energy consumption and production.
- Design and develop data models to enhance understanding and performance across energy systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract actionable insights and drive decision-making.
- Utilize statistical tools and data visualization methods to present findings clearly and effectively.
- Support digital transformation initiatives by integrating advanced analytics and innovative technologies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of results and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of analytics capabilities.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year and maximum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role, preferably within the energy sector.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Python, R, SQL, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in Japanese and English is preferred, both written and spoken.
Desired Experience:
- Experience working with energy data sets and familiarity with energy markets.
- Exposure to digital transformation initiatives or projects.
- Previous experience with large datasets and knowledge of data management principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
