Our client is seeking for a data analyst to act as traffic control for the intelligence consultancy. You will oversee delivery of marketing effectiveness reporting and optimization mainly in the Japan market, coordinate high-urgency requests for a global tech leader, and drive client satisfaction by ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable insights.

The ideal candidate thrives on complexity; someone who loves orchestrating moving parts, yet can lead social listening on hands, assess crisis situations and upcoming trends , and keep projects running smoothly from concept to completion.
Key responsibilities
- In charge of end-to-end delivery and creation of social listening analysis and reports by using multiple monitoring tools.
- Understand the Japan social landscape to analyze the social listening data to drive valuable insights to clients. Insights should help the client to assess current and future crisis situations and trends.
- Support the Client Excellence Lead on day-to-day account management with clients and agency partners; maintain a pulse on client relationships and escalate issues proactively.
- Maintain project plans, trackers, runbooks and templates; run standups, resource planning and post-mortems to drive continuous improvement.

- Timely delivery of high-urgency reports and analysis within SLAs and budget.
- Creating high client satisfaction through deliverables and consultations.
- Clear, reliable capacity forecasting and prioritization.
- Fewer data/quality issues and reduced rework through robust QA and processes.
- Demonstrable contribution to revenue or scope growth from existing relationships.
Qualifications
- 3 to 10 years or more relevant experience; prior experience in a digital agency or working in a company on a social listening/ analysis role is required.
- Strong preference working on data and figures.
- Understanding of digital marketing, media planning and customer experience management.
- Platform experience managing Social, Search and/or Programmatic campaigns (strategy, setup and optimization).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; meticulous attention to detail.
- Logical communication skills and work well in a team environment and collaborate well within the agency network.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills; ability to adapt quickly in fluid situations.
- Language capability: Business fluency in Japanese and English is essential.
- In the interview process, an aptitude test will be required.
Beneficial to have:
- Experience supporting large tech clients or measurement/insights practices.
- Basic social listening tool experience( Meltwater, Talkwalker, etc)
- Solid project management capability and familiarity with methodologies.
