Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for an IT Project Manager based in Japan. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing IT projects to ensure they are completed on time and within scope. Daily responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders, managing project timelines, mitigating risks, and ensuring resource optimization. The role will also involve monitoring project progress, ensuring compliance with organizational objectives, and facilitating communication among team members.

- A bachelor's degree in business management, communications, engineering or related field(s)
- Demonstrated project management, analytical and problem-solving skills with strong sense of personal accountability
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, and experience interacting with both business and IT executive level personnel
- Strong competency of interpersonal skills, team leadership, business acumen, relationship building and conflict management
- Willingness to work in a collaborative environment and promote teamwork mentality
- Experience with Agile methodology, Scrum framework and SDLC process
- Proficiency with Jira, MS Project, SharePoint and Excel (experience with Mavenlink and Salesforce applications a plus)
- Ability to travel occasionally
- PMP designation preferred
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Japanese
