■ Your Role and Responsibilities
Design and implement reporting features in our cloud-based accounting solution for mid-sized enterprises using and TypeScript
Develop a highly customizable frontend for reporting tools
Write clean, efficient, scalable, and well-tested code that's easy to maintain
Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Designers, and other departments to define specifications and incorporate customer feedback
Define system requirements encompassing both functional and non-functional aspects
Work closely with team members and stakeholders including the Engineering Manager, Product Manager, and Designers
Deploy software to production and ensure its stable operation
Monitor production systems and handle any incidents swiftly, including system recovery
Actively share technical knowledge and best practices within the team and broader engineering community
Contribute to enhancing development processes, communication, and team dynamics
Japanese: Not required, but advantageous
English: Fluent in both spoken and written communication
■ Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
7+ years of hands-on software development experience
Proven experience leading product development using and TypeScript
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development environments
Experience in designing software architecture
Strong team collaboration skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, solution-focused mindset with a strong drive for results
Able to commute to our Tokyo office at least twice a week

■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing and operating financial domain applications (e.g., accounting, reporting)
Familiarity with
Knowledge of backend technologies such as Go
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency with AWS or other cloud service platforms
Background in system architecture design and infrastructure setup
Proven success in developing and releasing production-ready software
Interest in learning Japanese
Experience in AI development or applying AI tools to optimize development workflows
