Back-end engineer - senior high level
■ Company Overview

■ Your Role and Responsibilities
Lead the development of backend microservices for user-facing features
Architecture design that can improve efficiency and flexibility
Design and develop high-throughput services with high availability, reliability, and fault tolerance standards
Coach team members on best practices for software implementation and operations
Support high-quality implementations by collaborating with other teams and actively participating in code and design reviews
Product and Service Development: Java, Kotlin, Spring Framework.
Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, AlertManager, Elasticsearch, Kibana.
Storage: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Apache Kafka.
Infrastructure: Container (k8s), VM/PM on Private Cloud.
Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Configuration repository: Ansible, ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
■ Experience and Qualifications
Experience in server-side application development (5+ years)
Knowledge and experience with scalable data storage technologies such as MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Kafka, HBase
Basic computer science knowledge
Business-level conversation skills in Japanese or English
Ability to understand and write business-level documents in English
■ Preferred Experience/Skills
Experience designing and developing server applications and databases in high traffic environments
Knowledge of JVM tuning and monitoring
Experience managing and coaching development teams
Experience with microservice architecture
Experience developing applications that run on Kubernetes
