About the team
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science.
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (GBS) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving ad campaigns, and more.
As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time.
Responsibilities- Data Analysis : Formulate hypothesis ; Conduct thorough analysis of complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives; Deliver data support for both short term and long term business development plans from strategic scope and execution aspects with indepth analysis ; Build/maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of business products ;
- Project Management : Work closely with key cross functional teams such as product managers, data science, and engineers to solve business problems and help capture revenue impact from the implementation of the analyses ; In collaboration with business stakeholders, drive project management on key initiatives to help translate business impact from data analyses ; report back on status of key initiatives ;
- Revenue growth : Mirror and coown revenue goal from Performance Client Solutions team and enable the growth of Performance Products and Solutions ;
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of analysis methodologies, findings, and outcomes for future reference, and actively participate in knowledge sharing activities to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement;
- This is an individual contributor role, but will be expected to manage projects and codrive revenue growth in partnership with the Leader of Performance Solutions ;
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a background in Math, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or other quantitative fields
- 3+ years experience of Data Analytics
- Expert experience pulling large and complex data using SQL and writing data pipelines
- Experience with a data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau)
- Strong communication skills as you will be dealing with both local and international stakeholders
- Experience doing quantitative analysis ; Ability to perform data manipulation and analysis with R or Python
- Experience managing and overseeing multiple projects, past experience in Sales, Client Solutions or PMO is a plus
