Position Details
You will lead the design, production, release, effect verification and improvement of Rakuten ecosystem related products, and will be responsible for the growth of the service.
We are looking for a web director who can create and improve the experience of using various services and products that accompany the customer strategy of the entire Rakuten Group.
Web direction
- Overall promotion of production projects such as new measures, improvements, and operations for creating results
- Creative direction with UX / UI designer
- Feasibility confirmation, specification formulation, and implementation direction with front-end engineers and development teams
- Specific design and specification formulation for A / B testing and sorting
- QA and release work
- File management and operation by Git
- Solving operational issues and systematizing
UI / UX
- Information design based on UCD (site structure, screen transition, interaction, navigation, screen configuration)
- Problem extraction and verification by user test
- Usability evaluation
- Smartphone and tablet Web / APP design
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Logical thinking ability, problem-solving ability, communication ability
- Web production direction 5 years or more
- Experience in production direction of dynamic processing using API
- File management experience with Git and release work experience by yourself
- Basic knowledge of Web standards and website creation ((X) HTML + CSS, JavaScript)
- Basic knowledge of web usability and accessibility
- Basic knowledge about website front-end technology
- Strong interest and motivation for Web services
Desired Qualifications:
- Those who have the experience of demonstrating their own value and achieving results in a cross-functional team including the development and business sides.
- Experience as a director of large-scale websites / apps and new feature development
- Those who have a track record of developing sites / apps with agile / lean development processes and achieving results
- Those who have the attitude to lead the project while demonstrating their expertise in self-startup
- Experience in launching a new site
- Experience in renewal project of existing site
- Expertise and experience in building smartphone apps
- Knowledge and experience on the server side (JAVA, PHP, etc.)
- Team management experience as a leader
