What you'll do at Jamf:
At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. In this role you'll evangelize Jamf by developing meaningful relationships with key stakeholders at accounts, bridge the gap to executives, and elevate Jamf mindshare to a strategic position within a specific territory. Your efforts will lead directly to the sales of our Whole Product Experience (WPE), development of pipeline growth, and territory sales. The Manager, Sales Engineering is a key member of the Japan management team, responsible for leading Sales Engineering team. This position will evaluate technical requirement of new sales opportunities and present technical solutions to meet the needs of prospective and existing customers. The position works both remotely and on site.

What you can expect to do in this role:

  • Responsible for achieving sales quotas in the Japanese market by leading and managing the technical part of all sales activities
  • Assist sales reps and channel partners from technical point of view in closing transactions through the development of C-level relationships with key prospects
  • Understand customer's technical requirements, create and propose solutions with unique business value
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective and existing customers both remotely and onsite
  • Plan and execute the unique strategy to improve technical capability of channel partners
  • Maintain current knowledge and value of all Jamf products
  • Provide on-going coaching to maximize the skills and competencies of your subordinates
  • Attract, hire, guide, onboard and retain diverse and highly qualified talent
  • Provide clear vision, strategies, support and expectations to ensure employees can learn, grow and expand their skills, perspectives and experiences to help grow Jamf
  • As a Jamf employee you will be expected to travel up to 30% to attend events specific to your role include international travel.

  • What we are looking for:

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree preferred; a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • 3+ years of proven experience managing or leading successful technical sales or sales engineer team in software industry (required)
  • 5+ years of technical sales or sales engineer experience in IT industry (required)
  • Proficient with Apple technology within a business or education environment(required)
  • Native level of Japanese and Business level of English language written and verbal communication skills and comprehension
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and propose solutions
  • Ability to communicate complex technical terms in an easy to understand, non-technical manner.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter, while is also a team player
