About the location:
Discover a true boutique experience at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi. Located within walking distance of Tokyo Station, this 57-key intimate urban retreat is at the heart of the city's vibrant pulse. Explore the nearby galleries and upscale boutiques in Ginza, or indulge in Tokyo's hidden gems, from sushi bars and speakeasies to exceptional izakayas and local cafes. The phenomenally talented, Chef Daniel Calvert, is at the helm of Maison Marunouchi and Michelin-starred Sézanne. The former is an elevated Parisian bistro, while the latter – listed on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants and The World's 50 Best Restaurants – is the epitome of fine French dining yet regionally-inspired.

About The Role
The F&B GRO is the first interaction for guests in our Sézanne Restaurant, and is the designer of memorable experiences. This role is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. This role is part of the Sézanne Restaurant, reporting into the Restaurant Manager.

What You Will Do

  • Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers
  • Manage the host stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations as to the setup of the table sections
  • Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining rooms and make necessary improvements as well as check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set
  • Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information

What You Bring

  • One to two years' previous experience in Food & Beverage outlet; previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
  • Strong communication skills

Schedule & Hours

  • 40 working hours per week.
  • 10 days off every month except February (9 days)
  • Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization for Japan and be fluent in English and Japanese business communication.
