The role
Your primary responsibility is to acquire new clients and drive incremental revenue growth across Japan. You will act as a trusted commercial partner to customers, combining deep market knowledge with consultative selling skills.

  • Own new client acquisition and revenue generation across Japan
  • Build and manage senior relationships with banks, financial institutions, platform businesses, and enterprises
  • Identify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities in their core verticals
  • Consistently exceed commercial targets and demonstrate a strong history of outperforming KPIs
  • Apply a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach to articulate clear value propositions
  • Collaborate closely with global stakeholders across product, operations, and leadership teams

Your skills & experience

  • 10+ years of proven experience in business development or enterprise sales, preferably within Payments, FinTech, Banking, Cards, E-commerce, or Financial Services in Japan
  • Strong track record of exceeding revenue and growth targets in prior roles
  • Data-driven, analytical, and results-oriented
  • Self-starter who performs well both independently and within a global, cross-functional team
  • Japanese (native-level); English (business-fluent level)
