The roleYour primary responsibility is to acquire new clients and drive incremental revenue growth across Japan. You will act as a trusted commercial partner to customers, combining deep market knowledge with consultative selling skills.
Own new client acquisition and revenue generation across Japan
Build and manage senior relationships with banks, financial institutions, platform businesses, and enterprises
Identify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities in their core verticals
Consistently exceed commercial targets and demonstrate a strong history of outperforming KPIs
Apply a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach to articulate clear value propositions
Collaborate closely with global stakeholders across product, operations, and leadership teams
Your skills & experience
10+ years of proven experience in business development or enterprise sales, preferably within Payments, FinTech, Banking, Cards, E-commerce, or Financial Services in Japan
Strong track record of exceeding revenue and growth targets in prior roles
Data-driven, analytical, and results-oriented
Self-starter who performs well both independently and within a global, cross-functional team
Japanese (native-level); English (business-fluent level)
