Job Description: Wind WTG Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the procurement of wind turbine equipment and components, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Work closely with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to select appropriate wind turbine technologies that meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create effective sales strategies that promote wind turbine solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and support for clients during the selection process of wind turbines.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the wind energy sector.
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and project development status.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations related to wind turbines and their operation.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Certification in wind turbine technology or related qualifications.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management in the renewable energy sector.
- Proficient in technical documentation and project management tools.
Desired Experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in wind turbine selection, procurement, or related engineering roles.
- Experience working directly with OEMs and understanding their design, manufacturing, and delivery processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and present to stakeholders effectively.
