Job Title: Technical Support Engineer
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our Customer Service & Support (CSS) organization. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will own, troubleshoot, and solve customer technical issues.
This role is flexible, allowing you to work up to 100% from home. You will have the opportunity to accelerate your career growth, honing your problem-solving, collaboration, and research skills, and deepening your technical proficiency.
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a seamless support experience for our customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer technical issues, using best practices and transparency within and across teams.
The ideal candidate will have excellent understanding of Database concepts and deployments, experience supporting or maintaining complex mission critical database solutions, and strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills, including verbal, listening, and written (including technical writing), are also required.
Prior experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable: Azure or other cloud-based solutions, Microsoft certifications in data platform or Azure technologies, troubleshooting distributed solutions, Open Source Databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc., and Basic Networking, Storage, and Platform troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications:
- Japanese Language: fluent in reading, writing, and speaking
- English Language: confident in reading and writing, moderate spoken English skills
- Data base product and cloud experience can be utilized
- Experience with migrating from on-premises to cloud environments
- Experience troubleshooting network, storage, OS, and infrastructure-related issues
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Previous experience in various roles such as SIer, Support department, PM/PMO, Developer, etc.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
