• English The company handles the development and operation of a platform for distributing e-books received from publishers to various e-bookstores. Our system not only facilitates e-book distribution but also manages and delivers content, oversees sales data, and continuously updates the system. It boasts the highest e-book circulation using this platform, holding the No. 1 share domestically and No. 2 globally. We connect over 2,200 publishers and more than 150 e-bookstores, functioning as the core of e-book circulation. To enhance operational efficiency and ensure the stable functioning of our services, our SRE team resolves challenges faced by the product from both the application and infrastructure perspectives. In this recruitment drive, we are seeking engineers who can contribute to the overall operation and maintenance of services provided by us. Roles and Responsibility

運用業務の自動化
RPAツールやPythonを用いて、事業部や開発チームの運用業務の自動化を行っています。 日々の運用業務から自動化できるものがないかを常に考え、トイルの削減を行っています。

パブリッククラウド構築 / 運用
Terraform Cloudを用いたAWS環境の構築と構築後のインフラのパフォーマンスチューニングを行っています。 また、AWSやGCPのアカウントの統合管理もSRE部が行い、ベストプラクティスに準拠していないリソースの改善も行っています。

モニタリング
開発チームと連携し、New Relicを中心としたモニタリングツールの運用をしています。 APMを活用し日々のパフォーマンスを監視したり、システムの異常検知と対応を行っています。

コスト分析と最適化
パブリッククラウドのコストを集計・可視化するBIツールを構築し、運用しています。 不要なリソースがないか、異常なコストが発生していないかなどを分析し、コストの最適化を行っています。

• English Automation of Operational Tasks
  We automate operational tasks within the business units and development teams using RPA tools and Python. Constantly seeking areas for automation from daily operational tasks, we aim to reduce toil.
  
  Public Cloud Deployment/Operations
  Utilizing Terraform Cloud, we construct AWS environments and conduct performance tuning post-deployment. The SRE team manages the integration of AWS and GCP accounts, addressing resources not compliant with best practices.
  
  Monitoring
  Collaborating with the development team, we oversee the operation of monitoring tools centered around New Relic. Leveraging APM, we monitor daily performance and address system anomalies.
  
  Cost Analysis and Optimization
  We've developed and operate BI tools to aggregate and visualize public cloud costs. Analyzing for unnecessary resources or abnormal costs, we optimize expenditure.

Minimum Requirements

• English Experience in either of the following roles:
  • Infrastructure Engineer involved in construction and operations
  • Web service construction and operations focusing on Open Source Software

Annual Salary: ¥4.5M - 6M

Hours:

・Basic working hours 10:00 - 19:00 (standard working hours: 8 hours)

・Flexible working hours Beginning: 5:00 - 10:00 End of workday: 15:00 - 22:00

・Core time 10:00 - 15:00 However, due to client's circumstances, you may be asked to come to work even during flexible hours when necessary. *As a measure to prevent the spread of corona infection, core hours are tentatively set at 11:00-15:00.

Overtime for the engineering organization averages less than 15 hours per month.

Remote work: Available Remote work is available on days other than workdays determined by each team.
