Duties and Responsibilities

As an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer), you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the infrastructure environment. [Specific Responsibilities]

  • Design and build the infrastructure environment utilizing AWS.
  • Visualize metrics related to product reliability like FourKeysMetrics and various APIs.
  • Establish infrastructure design in alignment with PCI DSS requirements and compliance rules.
  • Streamline and automate infrastructure construction and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Optimize resource and cost of the application execution environment.
  • Enhance development productivity and developer experience by setting up development and evaluation environments, including CI/CD.
  • Automate incident response and troubleshooting during operation and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Practical experience or basic knowledge of infrastructure construction using AWS (self-learning accepted).
  • Over 3 years of experience in design, construction, and testing as an infrastructure engineer, including code-based infrastructure configuration and deployment automation.
  • Fundamental knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP and HTTP.
  • Experience in development using programming languages beyond shell scripts.
  • Alignment with our vision and values.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in operational and maintenance tasks for critical products and services.
  • Experience in system operation and maintenance with container orchestration tools.
  • Infrastructure operation experience in large-scale services utilizing web servers, RDBMS, KVS, etc.
  • Experience in advocating and implementing CI/CD.
  • Experience in promoting DevOps/NoOps.
  • Engagement in negotiation with stakeholders like customers and infrastructure vendors.
  • Establishment of a system for fault detection through monitoring server resources and system performance, and rule creation.
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS 3.2 and infrastructure construction or operation expertise.
  • Understanding of vulnerability response and security domains.

Annual Salary: 5,000,000 - 7,400,000 JPY based on expertise and prior experience.
