Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Solution Area Specialist to join our Digital Sales Enterprise team. The successful candidate will work with our most important customers within our enterprise organization, driving the day-to-day execution of Microsoft's strategic business priorities.

This role is flexible, allowing for up to 50% remote work.

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technology-related sales or account management experience, with a proven track record of success in cloud technology sales or consulting. Fluency in both Japanese and English is required.

A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications or advanced degrees. Subject matter expertise in areas such as systems operations, IT infrastructure, competitive landscape, or partner ecosystems is also desirable.

The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to our top clients, helping them incorporate Azure app development services into their overarching cloud strategy. They will be responsible for conducting architectural design sessions, guiding customers through complex scenarios involving hybrid and multi-cloud container deployments, and engaging with customers and collaborating with account and partner teams to drive new opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Proven experience in cloud technology related sales or consulting, particularly around Applications and Infrastructure.
  • Customer First Mindset - Engage with and enable our customers and key decision-makers, delivering a connected customer engagement experience.
  • Be the key trusted advisor and influencer in shaping customer decisions to buy and adopt Microsoft Azure solutions.
  • Collaborate with Digital Specialists, extended sales team, partners to conduct business analysis and pursue high-potential customers.
  • Lead technical demonstrations of Azure solutions and engage in conversations with customers to introduce how other workloads could enable digital transformation areas.
  • Build relationships with leadership and field stakeholders to enable team success across internal and external stakeholders.
