Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales professional to drive new business development for our leading online and advisory-based corporate governance, Sustainability and executive compensation services. This exciting B2B opportunity is ideal for a sales candidate with a proven track record in the financial, corporate, green finance or consulting area.
Responsibilities:
- Develop targeted sales opportunities for public companies
- Build relationships with C-level executives, Investor Relations Officers, Sustainability managers, and Company Secretaries
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, product demonstrations, territory management, contract negotiation, and closing business
- Create lead generation campaigns and respond to marketing leads to build new business
- Maintain and manage existing client relationships
- Meet revenue goals by closing new solution memberships and renewing/upgrading current clients
- Partner with our ICS advisory team to deliver excellent service and insights to clients
- Assist in product development efforts by providing market feedback and guidance
- Represent ISS Corporate at external conferences and networking events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in the financial, corporate, green finance or consulting area
- Knowledge of ESG/Exec Comp and/or IR services is preferred
- Fluent in Japanese and professional proficiency in English
- Superior analytical, verbal, and written skills
- Assertive personality, relationship building skills, and natural sales proficiency
- Collaborative approach to work and excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives at prospect firms
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
