ABOUT THE ROLE

In this project you will have the unique opportunity to craft compelling narratives about Stripe's users, products, and their contributions to the internet economy.
Your work will also focus on vividly portraying these stories across various social media platforms, engaging both existing and potential customers in Japan.
This position not only allows you to influence how Stripe's innovative solutions are perceived globally but also positions you at the forefront of shaping the future of digital finance through strategic storytelling and targeted communication.
Through Stripe's official channels, you will highlight how Japanese businesses are embracing their products, keep users informed about new features, and enhance the storytelling campaigns and social media-centric initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop social media content that promotes engagement with Japanese audiences: business decision makers, founders, and developers.
Oversee planning, execution, and management of social posts across the company's Japanese channels (X, Facebook, Youtube, etc)
Support key product and market announcements
Establish and nurture relationships with influencers that align with company's brand values to amplify company's reach and credibility
Conduct competitive analysis to assess how we can lead the industry with thoughtful social media engagement
Collaborate with other teams (Marketing, Sales, Product, Developer Relations) to build company's brand awareness in Japan
Support and drive community meetups in Japan, in collaboration with Developer Relations and Startup Partnerships
Use a broad range of technical and soft skills to build productive relationships with stakeholders when required
What We're Looking For
With at least three years of experience in a tech, B2B environment, you're ready to bring your expertise to our team.
Bilingual Expertise:
Fluent in Japanese and English? Your skills will help us connect with audiences effectively and inclusively.
Social Media Expert:
You know the key platforms and forums in Japan inside out. Help us engage and grow our digital audience.
Your copywriting skills will help us craft messages that resonate and engage.
Your eye for design will play a crucial role in shaping the visual aspects of our communications.
You understand the local market nuances and tech landscape, enabling us to tailor our strategies effectively.
Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will enhance our team's reach and impact.
