■Primary Skills & Qualifications (◇Essential)
◇ 3+ years of social media experience, preferably for a company in the Media, Creative and Fashion industries
◇ Japanese mother tongue with at least being able to communicate in English with writing & reading
Ability to identify and select powerful images and videos
◇ Strong writing skills for captions, headlines and visual storytelling
Proven ability in visual storytelling that drives engagement
Strong editorial judgement, with a passion for the topics and the tone of voice proposed by Vogue Japan
Community management experience
Excellent organizational skills, focus, and attention to detail
An established ability to synthesize and communicate information quickly
◇ Must complete an edit test (writing samples are a plus)
◇ Experience with video editing and asset creation
Able to work outside standard working hours (occasional evenings and weekends)
◇ Experience in working on social follower growth and engagement strategies for content and video
Ability to clearly articulate and present to editorial colleagues and all levels of management
Ability to navigate a complex and matrixed business
Good understanding of social media analytics and how data can inform a successful editorial and social strategy

業務内容
The Social Media Manager for Vogue Japan leads the social strategy and social posting of Vogue Japan's social channels.
This person will be embedded with the Vogue Japan content team and partner seamlessly with editors and writers. They will sit alongside editors and be pivotal to enabling the success of the newly-evolved teams.
The Social Media Manager is part of a community of global Vogue Social Managers (an Aud Dev Manager and Social Manager is embedded in each Vogue editorial team).
They will work closely with the global director of social as well as the wider community on social storytelling.This role is big picture – overseeing social storytelling and content distribution – and is hands-on – with daily posting and scheduling on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads and other platforms (depending on local platforms).
This person has an eye for powerful visuals, strong writing skills, social storytelling skills and understands the Vogue voice.The Social Media Manager will have a proven history of growing social audiences and knowledge of analytical tools.
This person understands how data can inform a smart editorial and social strategy, and is an expert at juggling multiple projects, managing deadlines, distilling social numbers into actionable insights, and advocating for strong social content across the organization.
The ideal candidate has experience partnering with Edit, Creative and Commercial. They will be a clear communicator and show sound judgement. This person will display all the behaviors outlined in the Audience Development Competency Model.学歴
