■About Team/ 配属部署について
アダプテーション・エディターのチームは、世界各国のコンデナストのコンテンツを各エディションの読者向けに翻訳・編集し、元記事の意図を踏まえながら、各地域の読者の感性に合わせた文章を仕上げていきます。チームのメンバーたちは、コンデナストのジャーナリズムを世界各国の読者に届ける重要な役割を担っています。
■ポジション概要
『WIRED』日本版で公開される、グローバルコンテンツにまつわる業務全般をご担当いただきます。日本の読者に響く翻訳コンテンツを制作することで、『WIRED』日本版のさらなる成長に貢献していただきます。
スキル・資格
■必須要件
・テクノロジーやビジネス関連メディアにおける、4年以上の記事翻訳・編集の実績
・英語から日本語への高い翻訳・ローカライズスキル、日本語での高い文章力
・記事の背景にある多様な文化的文脈を理解し、翻訳に適切に反映する力
・日本語・英語のコミュニケーションスキル(ライティング・スピーキング)
・デジタル記事作成・運用の経験(SEOなど含む)
・テクノロジーやインターネットのトレンドに親しんでいること
■歓迎要件
・社内の別部署や外部協力者と連携しながら、効果的に仕事を進めることができる
・『WIRED』ブランドやコンデナストのジャーナリズムへの深い理解
・英語以外の言語から日本語への翻訳スキル
業務内容
■Key Responsibilities/ 日々のミッション,タスク
・コンテンツの翻訳編集と、それに関連する業務
・海外版記事から『WIRED』日本版向けに記事を選定する
・原文の意図を踏まえた精度の高い翻訳文の作成
・『WIRED』日本版のトンマナとSEOを踏まえた記事編集、事実確認・ローカライズのためのリサーチ。(自身が翻訳した記事・外部翻訳者による記事どちらについても)。
・CMSへの入稿・設定
・記事予定等の調整
・ライツクリアランス関連の調整
・国内外の同僚、関係部署との連携
■Evaluation Criteria/評価基準
・webトラフィックへの貢献
・安定した質と量での記事制作
・日本・グローバルチーム双方との連携・コミュニケーション
