Intern: China E-Commerce Market Researcher (Remote / Contract-based)
About the Role
We are looking for an intern to conduct market research on China's e-commerce landscape. The position is remote and flexible, and will be on a contract basis. Depending on findings and your capability, there may be opportunities to support e-commerce operations and market entry activities afterward.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct online and offline research on China's e-commerce market, consumer trends, and key players
• Identify potential market entry opportunities for Japanese brands
• Prepare reports, data summaries, and insights for strategic planning
• (Optional) Support operational setup and coordination within Chinese e-commerce platforms
Requirements
• Proficient in Chinese (Mandarin) and English
• Japanese proficiency is a plus
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Interest in cross-border e-commerce or international business
• Able to work independently and communicate remotely
