【背景】 ティアフォーでは自動運転の民主化というミッションの達成に向けて、自動運転のソフトウェアをオープンソース化するとともに、AI開発のための高品質で大規模なデータを有するプラットフォーム(Co-MLOps)の開発を加速させています。本プラットフォームではデータ収集システムからデータ提供アプリケーションまで含めてフルスタックで開発を行っており、その中でも本求人ではAI開発に適した高品質・大規模なデータを記録するためのデータ収集システム(Data Recording System)の開発業務に従事いただける方を募集します。

At TIER IV we build self-driving solutions for many operational domains covering a broad range of applications. In addition, we are accelerating development of a platform, named "Co-MLOps", that shares large volumes of high quality data for use in AI development cycles. We are conducting full-stack development for this platform, including the implementation of a dedicated data acquisition system (Data Recording System). As an engineer in this project, you will play a key role in the development of the Data Recording System towards the goal of realization of the platform as a whole.

【仕事内容】 本ポジションでは、センサ統合やシステムインテグレーションなどの技術的な業務だけでなく、顧客ニーズに基づいた製品仕様の提案や次世代製品の検討・提案など、製品開発を主導しながら幅広い領域に携わっていただきます。具体的には以下の業務を担当します。

• センサの評価とキャリブレーション
• センサのインテグレーション(設置・検証・データ収集)
• メカトロニクス観点からのシステム設計・製作
• 顧客ニーズをもとにした機能や仕様のロードマップ提案
• DRSの製品化に向けた設計・計画の提案
• 次世代DRSソリューションの研究・プロトタイピング

Responsibilities
【Job Description】 In this role, you will not only handle technical tasks such as sensor integration and system engineering but also take the lead in product development. You will propose and refine product specifications based on customer needs, explore concepts for next-generation products, and help steer the overall product strategy. Specific responsibilities include:

• Evaluating and calibrating sensors
• Integrating sensors (installation, testing, data collection)
• Designing and manufacturing systems from a mechatronics perspective
• Proposing feature and specification roadmaps based on customer requirements
• Planning and designing for the productization of the DRS
• Researching and prototyping next-generation DRS solutions

Requirements

• Linux(特にUbuntu) 環境でのソフトウェア開発に精通していること
• ROS / ROS 2 を活用したロボティクスアプリケーション開発・運用経験
• LiDAR・カメラ・GNSS・IMU などのセンサデータの取得・同期・前処理に関する知識と実装経験
• センサドライバ(ハードウェア制御やデータフォーマット処理を含む)の開発・保守経験

【Required Skills】

• Proficiency in software development in Linux environments, particularly Ubuntu
• Experience in developing and operating robotics applications using ROS / ROS 2
• Knowledge and practical experience in acquiring, synchronizing, and pre-processing sensor data such as LiDAR, cameras, GNSS, and IMU
• Experience in developing and maintaining sensor drivers, including hardware control and data format handling

Preferred Experiences

• Experience in hardware product development and commercialization
• Creating technical documents such as datasheets, specifications, and application notes
• Experience in upstream processes, including product specification and design requirement definition
• Experience in building and managing product support systems
• Experience in quality assurance (QA/QC) and quality management during the mass production phase
• Practical experience in sensor evaluation and calibration
• Experience in developing perception algorithms (e.g., object detection, sensor fusion, etc.)
• Experience in mechanical design and prototyping using 3D CAD tools
• Hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical design, including precision assembly and power/data wiring
• Ability to create technical documentation and communicate in English at a professional level
• Experience in planning and managing data collection projects, including policy formulation and coordination with external vendors or partners

Working Conditions

Salary想定月収 :48.3万円 ~ 116.6万円

月額基本給 :357,334 円 ~ 862,667円 (固定残業手当を除く額) 固定残業手当:時間外労働の有無に関わらず45時間分の時間外手当として 126,000円 ~ 304,000円を支給(45時間を超える時間外労働分、休日労働及び深夜労働分についての割増賃金は追加で支給)
