HMI Hotel Group, Japan is currently recruiting skilled and passionate Chefs to join our culinary team. The Chef will be responsible for enhancing guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in some of the following cuisines- French, Italian, Indian and Chinese

We are looking for dedicated culinary professionals who can consistently deliver quality, creativity, and excellence in a hotel kitchen environment. We are currently recruiting for the positions of Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) / Assistant Line Cook, Chef de Partie (CDP) / Line Cook, Junior Sous Chef and Executive Chef.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on kitchen experience and excellent teamwork skills.

Candidates with international exposure in reputed Hotel Brands and experience in multi-cuisine hotel operations will be highly preferred.

Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare, present and maintain high standards for hotel restaurant and banquet dishes (breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets).
  • Lead kitchen team, oversee inventory, and portion control.
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene and kitchen documentation.
  • Contribute to menu planning and work with purchasing to control food costs.
  • Train junior staff and support service during high-volume periods (events/banquets).
  • May be required to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Willingness to work in shifts (including nights, weekends).
  • Good teamwork and reliability.
  • Experience in banquet / large-scale food production.

Qualifications:

· For visa requirements, it is strictly mandated that the candidate has a minimum of 10 Years of Work Experience in the specialization of a particular Foreign Cuisine (Eg. – Specialization in preparing French/Indian/Chinese Cuisine.

Please note that
specialization in typical Japanese "domestic" dishes are generally
not eligible

· The candidate should have attended and graduated from a Culinary School.

Salary & benefits

  • Compensation in the range of 300,000 Yen to 700,000 Yen per month
  • Acccomodation in Japan sponsored by the Company.
  • Social insurance (shakai hoken), health insurance, pension, unemployment insurance, worker's accident compensation.
  • Other Fringe Benefits.
